Get Strategic With A Sales Funnel

If you don't have a Sales Funnel, you are losing customers. If this is the case, you are probably like I used to be: just throw stuff out there and hope for the best! You will still get lucky and stumble upon success once in a while. But I want you to strongly consider being more strategic in your online marketing strategy and consider building your own funnel.

So, what is a Sales Funnel anyway? I like this dead-simple definition provided by Ashley Stahl. "In essence, a sales funnel is a marketing strategy. It’s how your potential customers go from 'Who the heck are you?' to 'Yes, I want to buy!' " If you have no strategy from getting customers from point A to point B, you do not have a sales funnel.

The first step is called Lead Magnet. A lead can be as simple as having a person's name and a method of contact, such as their email address or phone number.

The second step is called the Tripwire. In this stage, you offer them the most basic service you can. Think of this as the minimum service or product you can provide that will turn someone into a paying customer.

The third step is referred to as the Core Offer. This is where you really begin making money off of what you do. You won't make much at all until you reach this point.

The final step is called High-end Offer. This is where all of your bells and whistles come into play.
